A Little About Me: I taught Anthropology in a University here in New England; created superlative panels, screens, and webpages for many years as a software guru; and like to attend all kinds of fan events (but NOT the My Little Pony convention).
Family History: Legend has it that Dr Jim's great-grandfather Anthony Philip von Hegner came from a town called Galgo somewhere in the Austria-Hungarian Empire. Recently Dr Jim discovered an old handbook for travellers from 1905 that pinpointed his ancestral home. Galgo lies on the road from Klausenburg, the provincial capital, to the Borgo Pass. Yes friends, Dr Jim's family really does come from the heart of Dracula country in Transylvania.
