Favorite T.V. Shows: The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, The Daily Show, Yes Minister, Doctor Who, Hoarders, Shin Chan (even though it's not on right now), Robot Chicken, The Avengers (the OLD series), Attack of the Show.
A Little About Me: I taught Anthropology in a University here in New England; created superlative panels, screens, and webpages for many years as a software guru; and like to attend all kinds of fan events (but NOT the My Little Pony convention).
Family History: Legend has it that Dr Jim's great-grandfather Anthony Philip von Hegner came from a town called Galgo somewhere in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Recently Dr Jim discovered an old handbook for travellers (sic) from 1905 that pinpointed his ancestral home. Galgo lies in northern Transylvania. It seems that Dr Jim is a great-great... great nephew of Vlad Dracula.
